This beautiful dress is made from a fabulous ivory raw silk dupion. With very subtle sheen shimmering effect this creates a very formal and glamorous fabric for this dress. Since the fabric is quite stiff the shape of this dress is strong, with a fitted bodice- a boat neckline and flattering waistband, followed by a full circle skirt and fitted elbow length sleeves, the bodice and sleeves have a beautiful delicate lace overlay. 

This dress can be worn with a swing petticoat (as photographed - petticoat not included) for create a full 1950's silhouette or left to hang naturally for a more casual effect.

This dress is ready made in a size UK Petite 10 (US 6-8 or EU 38) (please note this is slightly different from our standard size 10)

This Size UK Petite 10 is made to fit- Bust: 35.5"/36.5" and Waist: 28"-28.5" and will fit best on someone who is either fairly short or quite high waisted.

The skirt on this dress is 24” (61cm) long which will be knee length on most people.
