This dress features the Princess bodice which is our take on an elegant and classic style of the Fifties era. The darted bodice offers simplicity and a flattering silhouette while the soft ivory lace on the shoulders and sleeves give it a delicate feel. The raw Silk Dupion is used to full effect in the longer knee length Circle skirt where its lightness and natural ability to hold its shape offers the most dramatic swish! Our darted bodice is not boned at all, and so it needs to be worn with a supportive bra to give you the most flattering fit. As this dress has sheer lace on the upper body we recommend either a long- line strapless bra or a moulded cup bra with clear straps. This ready made dress has lace cap sleeves. 

The dress can be worn with a petticoat for the full 1950s effect (as pictured - petticoat not included) or left to hang naturally for a more subtle silhouette. 

This dress is ready made and available off-the-peg in a size UK 10 (US 6-8/EU 38).

It has been made to fit a waist measurement of 27-28” (69-72cm) and a bust measurement of 35-36” (88-92cm).

The skirt on this dress is 25.5” (65cm) long which will be just below the knee on most people.
