This 1950s style wedding dress features the Princess bodice with a full overlay in the delicate Cherry Blossom lace. The darted bodice offers simplicity and a flattering silhouette while the sequined lace give it a subtle shimmer for a bridal feel. The raw Silk Dupion is used to full effect in the full knee Circle skirt where its lightness and natural ability to hold its shape offers the most dramatic swish! The dress is also seen with an Ivory sash, this sits over the waistline of the dress and adds a beautiful finishing touch to the dress, the sash is an optional extra and the price is not included until you add this to your order. Our darted bodice is not boned at all, and so it needs to be worn with a supportive bra to give you the most flattering fit. As this dress has sheer lace on the upper body we recommend either a long- line strapless bra or a moulded cup bra with clear straps. The dress is seen here with Cap lace sleeves. 

This dress can be worn with a petticoat (as photographed - petticoat not included) to create a full 1950's silhouette or left to hang naturally for a more casual effect. It can also be worn with a silk self tie bow sash, as seen on the photo of the dress from behind (not included in this sale).

This dress is ready made and available off-the-peg in a size UK 20 (US 18/EU 48).

It has been made to fit a waist measurement of 39-40” (97-101cm) and a bust measurement of 45-46” (113-117cm).

The skirt on this dress is 24.5” (73cm) long which will be around the bottom of the knee on most people.

This dress is a ready made shop sample, this means that it might have been tried on and show some signs of wear.
