This beautiful dress is made from a fabulous handloom raw silk dupion. The silk is a very pale gold/champagne colour and has a subtle sheen and an organic texture and the details of the bodice have been outlined in a pale gold lame piping, creating an original and glamourous effect. The fitted bodice features our bustier neckline and curved waistband, followed by a full circle skirt and slim elbow length sleeves. 

This dress can be worn with a petticoat (as photographed - petticoat not included) for create a full 1950's silhouette or left to hang naturally for a more subtle effect.

This dress is the last available in this particular silk and is ready made and available off-the-peg in a size UK 8 (US 4/EU 36).

It has been made to fit a waist measurement of 26-27” (66-69cm) and a bust measurement of 33-34” (83-87cm). 

The skirt on this dress is 23” (58cm) long which will be knee length on most people.

This dress is a ready made sample, this means that it has been on display in our shop and it might have been tried on and therefore show some signs of wear. We take care to inspect each garment to check for any flaws and we will contact you to inform you of any imperfections prior to processing your order.
